Project 2: Exterior & Interior Rendering
Introduction
This project involves in producing photorealistic still renderings using 3DS Max of the model from project 1, with proper camera view and post- production enhancement on the visual outcome. Moreover, applying different materials, lights and effects to enhance the post- production visual outcome.
Overview of the project
The objective of this project is to cerate materials for the 3D objects, using lights for both exterior and interior rendering, setting up a camera in 3DS Max for the final rendering, understand and apply render settings, enhance the outcome of by using post- production tools such as photoshop, export the images in length 1000px JPG, and record ( WIP) Work In Progress as evidence.


Import the FPX file of the model into 3D Max
Add Sun path in the plan


Add a camera for the exterior view of the building
Adjusting the environment and effects settings


Download texture images online
Create my own materials


Adding the materials on the selected objects
adding furnitures


add lights for the standing lamp


add lights for the outdoor lights
add lights for the ceiling light


add an object and change the material while adding luminance to 1.0
add trees around the landscape


render the exterior by setting the render quality to high
render the indoor by setting the render quality to high
Final Result

Import the rendered image into Photoshop

Export the images to 1000px x 600px JPG
